A DAY IN THE LIFE

Canvas exists to help you thrive in life and university. From your room to the amenities and the social spaces to the friendly faces, everything is geared towards making sure you’re happy and healthy. Because when you’re both of those things, every day is a good day.

7 AM

EARLY BIRD BEATS THE HERD

An early morning workout helps you start the day with more energy, focus and optimism. It also keeps you active for longer. Which is good because you’ve an action packed day ahead of you.

Our on-site gyms are open 24/7 so you can easily fit exercise in around your schedule, whether that’s early in the morning before everyone wakes up or late in the evening before you go to bed.

8:30 AM

HEAD TO CLASS

With a workout in the bag, you’ll be ready to drink in knowledge like you’re refuelling. And you don’t have to worry about your enthusiasm being sucked away by a long, painful commute. Canvas locations are in the thick of the action, within walking distance of some universities and a short bike, train or bus ride to others.

We’re close to café and eateries too, in case you need caffeine en route.

1:30 PM

MEET & STUDY

What’s student accommodation without somewhere to meet and study? We fill our spaces with comfy chairs and sofas, and a range of tables designed to host everything from laptops and coffee cups to ping-pong games and table football.

They’re a hive of creativity, community and fun.

5:30 PM

COOKING UP A STORM

Right, that’s enough studying for today. It’s dinner time. Whether you’re putting the kettle on for a Pot Noodle, firing up the microwave for a ready meal, or making a three course meal for the entire Canvas community from scratch (can we come?), we’ve got everything you need.

Rooms with kitchenettes come with a hob, oven/microwave, fridge-freezer and sink. Large kitchens in shared spaces come with the same features, with the added benefit of a larger work space to showcase your culinary skills.

6:30 PM

WE’RE ALWAYS HERE TO HELP

Canvas runs on student hours, which means we’re here 24/7 if you need us. That could be at this time of evening to give you a recommendation of somewhere to eat out if things haven’t gone too well in the kitchen, early in the morning when you need some groceries delivered or late at night when you want somebody to talk to.

Better still, via our Canvas Resident App you can keep in touch with us on the move and have us take care of everything from cleaning and laundry to looking after your health and well-being.

8 PM

HIT THE TILES

It wouldn’t be student life without going out at least six nights a week. At Canvas you can go out and have a night at one of our on-site events, games nights or pub quizzes, or you can go out out to a local bar or clubs, or both.

Because we’re located close to public transport and student nightlife, you’ll not have to go far to find your new favourite spot. But if you ever need inspiration, you only need to ask and we’ll tell you where’s good.

11 PM

HIT THE SACK

After a day like today, what you need is a good night’s sleep. There’s a comfy sized bed in your room to help make it happen. And when you wake up, there's a full-length mirror to see the effects of the night before, Wi-Fi to see what you tweeted, and an en-suite bathroom to get you refreshed, ready to do it all over again.

This isn’t any old student life. It’s Canvas student life.

Kate Glasgow Review

My experience staying in Canvas Glasgow has been wonderful! I enjoy the overall friendly atmosphere in the student accommodation, where the members of staff are always ready help you with any queries. The location is extremely convenient for the students studying in GCU and University of Strathclyde. It takes just 5 minutes to get to the city centre, which makes it so easy to enjoy the urban life in Glasgow. Despite of the current situation, residents participate in various online events that entertain you through the lockdown. Hoping that next year brings more exciting events and enjoyable experience here in Canvas Glasgow.

Reviews Wembley 1

The Canvas Wembley building has exceeded my expectations in terms of student accommodation. The newly-built site, perfectly located within the Wembley area and full of amenities truly served its purpose of being a home away from home. Other than being the newest and best-equipped, what differentiated the site from others, was the team - the people running the show. The Canvas Wembley team has shown that they would go above and beyond for their residents, always catering to the needs of all kinds of different people. I would highly recommend this accommodation!

Canvas Walthamstow Review Image 2

I think the soundproofing here is very good, and I rarely hear any noise when trains are passing or when music is playing next door. The management team is on-site 24 hours a day, so I can always go down and ask for help. It's also relatively easy to get around, with the Victoria Line and the Overground getting me to central London in under 30 minutes.

Canvas Walthamstow Review Image 1

The site is located at a very accessible area in between Walthamstow Central and Stratford, just perfect for people like me who visit these places often but don't want to be living surrounded by busy crowds. Most importantly the building is just right beside the Tube and Overground station, which directly connects to Central London. The site is well equipped and you get spacious rooms at affordable prices not often seen in London. Last but not least, a wonderful and friendly team gives support for any help we need, giving me the impression of being within a very cosy community and environment!

I really enjoyed it here at Arundel House. It’s a very social place. The receptionists are good people in the day and in the night and can solve problems whenever and wherever. Some of the facilities include the gym and not forgetting the common room too. Everybody’s friendly and I would recommend this as an accommodation to live in, especially if you’re trying to get around the campus or lectures on time. Whether you want to live high up or down low it is ideal. The best accommodation I would recommend in Coventry.

Living at Canvas has played a key role in my 1st year University experience. The building contains all of the necessary resources to facilitate a productive student environment (Study room, gym, wash/dry facilities etc.) along with great personal and social spaces. The staff have been fantastic - nothing is too much to ask, they have been welcoming and accommodating from day one. I would highly recommend Canvas to any student looking for state of the art student accommodation that includes a homelike feel along with great convenience

I spent my Bachelor years in a normal student house, and it was okay but not ideal, due to a lot of daily things to manage yourself since the landlords are not really listening to any of your problems, especially if you are an international. But thanks to Canvas, all these issues disappeared immediately. When I moved in, it was like a dream, really! Everything went so smooth, it was like buying a burger, haha, extremely easy and problem-free. Their high standards for interior design and maintenance are a big plus for a student like me that wants to feel safe and comfortable with their new home. However, I forgot to mention, you literally have everything at your fingertips, from common areas (cinema room, games, study room, comfy couches everywhere to chill/work) to the possibility of renting a car/bike, the gym is next door, great location, super close to the city center. Basically, you have everything you would need as a student and even more. Not to mention the staff, which is the biggest upside of Canvas Utrecht. Every time I reach them, they have an answer and fix my problems asap. They are very sharp and know what they are doing. Overall, Canvas is really the best place you can live as a student.

I have been living in Canvas for about a month now, and it has been the best experience I could have ever imagined. Everyone gave me a warm welcome, the Canvas staff, friends, and great new neighbours. All the facilities here, such as the common rooms have allowed me to meet so many bright people from all around the world. I already made so many great friends here, and this is only the beginning. Since I have ever heard about Canvas Utrecht, I’ve been wanting to live here. The idea of so many students living in the same building sounded like a dream to me. So being able to call Canvas my new home is great a pleasure. I could not recommend it enough!
